Terms

Before moving in a Security Deposit (equal to one month's rent), and the First Month's Rent must be paid.

If your household does not meet the minimum income requirements, investments must be shown to cover the deficit or a guarantor will be required whose income exceeds their expenses.

A deposit of ½ month's rent will be required once an apartment is offered. Should applicant withdraw after deposit is received the first $100 of this deposit is non-refundable and will be used as an Administrative Fee; a proportional amount of the balance will be returned if the unit is rented within 30 days. No money is due upon application.

I’ve lived in Puffton Village for many years. In terms of apartment living, what I especially like is that it feels as though I’m living in a cottage, the entrance directly into my apartment as opposed to sharing a hallway; there’s more of a sense of privacy in that. I also appreciate Puffton’s location, ½ mile from UMass, 2 miles to town, and the bus line makes two stops here. Everyone who works at Puffton Village is routinely kind and helpful. Of course, I’m a good tenant, so I recommend being considerate in return. It’s reassuring thought that, with all the problems in life, one thing I don’t have to worry about is living here.
